Payroll Administrator
Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is currently seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the Palisades Nuclear Plant team in Covert, MI.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Responsible for processing payroll for all employees, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to Holtec’s policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
This position is onsite at Palisades Power Plant in Covert, MI.
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, earnings, and deductions.
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll.
Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed.
Participate in process initiatives to increase accuracy of the payroll function.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum education required of the position:
- Bachelor's Degree - Accounting, Finance or related field, or commensurate work experience.
Minimum experience required of the position:
- 2-4 years of experience in payroll processing is required.
Union experience is HIGHLY preferred.
Accounts Payable experience is a plus.
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision or within a team environment.
- Ability to analyze problems and create solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with ADP software desired.
