Payroll & Accounting Coordinator

Essential Functions

• Heavy data entry
• Compile payroll reports and process payroll
• File and maintain organization and filing of payroll and related electronic and paper documents.
• Respond to payroll questions and employment verification requests
• Provide payroll data, pay history and reports as needed for internal and external contacts
• Assist Accounting Manager and Accounting Department with various areas of bookkeeping, accounting, and reconciling reports as needed

• Timekeeping Software experience
• Above average computer operator
• Above average QuickBooks experience
• Above average key punch, data entry, and typing speed
• Above average knowledge and ability to learn web-based software programs operations
• Above average knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook. (Excel is heavily used in this role.)
• Above average knowledge of payroll concepts
• Above average general math skills related to timekeeping and general business math functions
• Average knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping and account reconciling concepts
• Excellent verbal and writing skills and professional demeanor
• Excellent attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of confidentiality
