Job Purpose Summary:
The Billing Administrator is responsible for providing support to the Revenue Cycle Department, specifically the Billing Specialists. This position manages a very high volume of claims and must work quickly and efficiently to manage the consistent flow of work.
Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage and execute billing of outbound insurance claims at a high volume.
- Review and approve inbound insurance payments.
- Review and execute application of patient payments to service dates.
- Coordinate with other members of billing team to identify insurance denials to be worked by billings specialists.

Recommended education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Required experience:
Experience working in administration in a behavioral health or medical office including billing, insurance and claims.
Proper Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
Possess good time management, excellent documentation skills, high productivity with accuracy Proper English and grammar, usage and spelling - Software application related to the field
- General offices principles and practices
- Basic computer knowledge including email etiquette, and Microsoft Excel
- Professional phone and customer service demeanor Physical requirements.
- Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs
- Occasional to frequent walking, sitting, standing, driving
- Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing)
