Patient Services Representative - Part Time

Are you an organized and efficient communicator with a knack for adaptability and looking for a job you'll love? We want to meet you! We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Patient Services Representative/PT Technician. While prior experience is not required, we are looking for someone with a forward-thinking proclivity, who is eager to learn. A general familiarity with the healthcare field is a plus!

This part-time position is Monday-Thursday 7am-12:30pm.

In this position, you will help our clinical staff provide top of scope care and customer service to our patients. Every day you will work with patients during their visit, assist with front desk tasks and keep the clinic organized and clean. To thrive in this job, you don't need any prior experience or knowledge- just a desire to learn how a physical therapy practice operates and a go-getter attitude. We'll team you up with a Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant so they can mentor you and give you a strong understanding of the physical therapy field.

Here's what might happen on a typical day:

• Transport and/or escort patients to the appropriate treatment room or space.
• Work with patients during their visit on warm up, guiding exercises or helping with cool down activities.
• Fulfill Patient Services Representative tasks such as answering phones, checking patients in and/or scheduling patients.
• Keeping the clinic organized and clean - sanitizing equipment and putting it back where it belongs!

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and supporting our on-site patients.
• Managing a multi-phone line system.
• Input and maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the EMR system.
• Work collaboratively with clinical staff on schedule management.

• Familiarity with healthcare field and terminology is helpful, but not required.
