Summary:

Our busy orthopaedic clinic is looking for a Patient Services Representative with excellent organizational and administrative skills. Patient Services Representatives are expected to be compassionate and discreet with superb time management and record keeping skills. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, weekends off and paid holidays!

Position Duties:

Responsibilities vary between positions, but could include:

• Welcome patients and visitors by greeting patients, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries
• Sign patients in and obtain insurance information and other necessary data to prepare chart
• Provide patients with patient forms and copies of office policies and legally required documents, enter data into the electronic health record
• Process payments
• Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:

Monday - Friday; 9:00am - 6:00pm/Close

Education, Licenses and Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma/GED
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Minimum of 1 year customer service role required

Preferred:

• 1+ years’ experience as a Patient Services Representative
• Familiarity with EMR system
