Northwest Vein & Aesthetic Center is an independent medical practice providing vein surgery and medical aesthetic services in lovely Gig Harbor, Washington. We seek a highly motivated Patient Service Representative to join the team at our growing practice.

The Patient Service Representative plays a vital role in representing the practice to the public as the first point of contact to both potential and existing patients. In this capacity, job tasks include:

• scheduling appointments
• collecting and verifying patient demographics to include insurance coverage information
• responding to patient queries regarding vascular and aesthetic issues both in-person and over the phone
• collecting payments when necessary and generally facilitating smooth patient flow from registration to check out

In addition to Patient Service Representative duties, the person in this position advocates for patients as they move through the phases of treatment from initial consultation, to surgery and through the post-procedure follow-up. In this role, you will work closely with and be supported by the Vein Center Coordinator, Insurance Authorization Coordinator and Billing Specialist. You will also interact regularly with the providers. Strong communication skills are therefore mandatory; however, prior experience in health care, customer service or sales, while helpful, is NOT required. All relevant training will be provided.

Skills: Efficient with computers and keyboarding. Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. EPIC.

Education: High School graduate, GED

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
