**Patient Coordinator**
**Duties:**
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with medical scheduling and coordination of patient care
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage
- Handle billing and payment transactions
- Manage medical records and ensure accuracy and completeness
**Skills:**
- Previous experience working at least 2 years in a dental office or medical office setting preferred
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems such as PatientNow./ Google work-spaces
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a healthcare setting
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
_ Availability for after work calls.
Note: Experience with ER (Emergency Room) scheduling is not required for this position.
