We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy office.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Collect appropriate fees as indicated on routing sheets
- Post transactions and appointments to the computer.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient Patient Care delivery
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
