Job Duties:
Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls
Provide timely and accurate information
Quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries
Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system
Greet patients
Register new patients in the computer system
Verify patient insurance, demographic and contact information
Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal financial and insurance information
Check patients in when arriving for their appointments
Notify all necessary staff of patient arrival
Check patient out after office visit is complete and schedule a follow-up appointment if necessary
The successful candidate loves to help and take care of others, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is a team player. Knowledge of the medical billing process is a definite plus.
