Job Title: Patient Care Coordinator CPAP
Position Overview:
Pay: DOE
Allina Bandana Square Sleep Center offers sleep testing as well as CPAP therapy. We are seeking a proven health care professional to join our team and provide best in class services and further our mission of helping people “sleep great, feel great.”
This position conducts DME patient follow-up. The position is responsible for contacting patients to encourage the setup of CPAP equipment, order completion, patient scheduling with Clinical Specialists, entering patients records into databases, and other documentation required. This position also supports Insurance verification needs.
Duties and Responsibilities

- Review sleep studies and Doctor orders to determine patient eligibility for CPAP
- Contact patient to schedule CPAP set up
- Set up patient chart, enter data into Brightree and other appropriate programs and data bases
- Obtain all necessary documents from patient
- Verify patient insurance coverage
- Obtain necessary prior authorizations
- Inform Shipping Specialist of machine order
- Make appointments with patients to see a Clinical Specialist if needed
- Perform other general duties that may be assigned from time to time

· Outstanding patient/customer service skills
· Good business judgement with excellent organization and communication skills
· Ability to work with minimal direction, but understands the value of interaction with co-workers, patients, and providers
· Excellent computer skills and ability to quickly learn new data base programs
· Professional demeanor
· Desire to drive results with the highest level of Patient Care and professionalism
· Familiarity with CPAP therapy and equipment helpful by not required
Education and Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· Minimum of 1-year healthcare experience
· EMR experience Preferred but not required
· Brightree experience helpful but not required
