About us
The Pelican Golf Club, Belleair Florida is looking to add an experienced pastry chef to the culinary team. We are a private member only golf club. Our new pastry shop is equipped with equipment that allows us to be free and creative in many different pastry avenues. Our fine dining restaurant is open for evening dining only. Our Bistro is a breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Pastry menus in both areas changes regularly. Club banquet and member events vary from small to larger holiday events including the annual LPGA golf tournament. Our private dining and Chef's Table dining experiences focuses on our high-end member experiences. We create a variety of breads daily and regularly create unique ice cream, gelato, sorbets ect.
Job Summary
Executive Pastry experienced pastry chef to the culinary team. Chef and Pastry Chef on daily production needs for the club. Must be creative and not only have an eye for details but have the ability to adjust to changes in our member needs. We are looking for a pastry professional who can prep, cook and plate all menu items according to our standards. You will be required to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays along with some night shifts. Two years minimum experience is required, and a pastry degree or relevant experience is a plus.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Prep pastry station in both restaurants with all necessary items for plating.
- Prepare and plate all items according to the established team standards.
- Ensure production quality and consistency throughout.
- Maintain cleanliness of station and kitchen throughout the entire shift and end.
- Maintain safety standards at all times
