Position Summary:
The Regional Brand Pastry Specialist will be responsible for representing our vendor partner and The Chefs' Warehouse’s pastry product line. This person will use their expertise in the pastry industry, experience in foodservice, along with knowledge of industry trends, to drive sales and educate our customers/Sales reps over the entire Florida region.
What you’ll do:

• Promote the versatility of our Pastry solutions to operators.
• Collaborate with Sales to determine the best way to highlight and coordinate the Pastry & Baking portion of vendor presentations Marketing Events.
• Heighten awareness of Pastry & Baking inventory through weekly Hot Sheet for items to focus on and push.
• Work closely with Sales and Customers to create interest and solve challenges for operators.
• Research and be current on food trends and provide Pastry & Baking insight both internally and with external customers.
• Participate in food shows, presentations, and other strategic events.

Qualified applicants should possess:

• Reliable means of transportation
• Background in Sales or Pastry required
• Degree in Culinary Arts or related field required
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
• Passion for food and people
• Participation in food shows, regional presentations, and other strategic events
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
• Self-starter. Must ask questions and learn new skills quickly on the job
• Ability to take direction from management
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with short turnarounds
• High Energy and enthusiastic
• Works well independently and in team environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable presenting products in front of clients
• Travel up to 75% of the time
