Purpose and Scope: The Parts & Customer Service Representative at Sage Oil Vac, Inc.is a crucial role responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service, facilitating parts orders, and offering technical support to our clients. This position plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and technical questions.
- Provide prompt and professional assistance, resolving customer issues or escalating them to the appropriate department.
- Parts Ordering
- Assist customers in identifying and ordering the correct parts and components for Sage Oil Vac equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of parts orders, shipments, and inventory
- Technical Support
- Offer technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to customers experiencing equipment-related issues.
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical problems.
- Product Knowledge
- Maintain a deep understanding of Sage Oil Vac's product lines and the features, benefits, and application of each product.
- Provide customers with detailed product information and
- Order Processing
- Process and manage parts orders, ensuring accurate pricing, availability, and delivery.
- Coordinate with the logistics and shipping teams to ensure on-time order.
- Documentation
- Keep detailed and accurate records of customers interactions, order history, and technical support cases.
- Generate reports and maintain organized documentation related to parts and Customer Service.
- Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency in Customer Service and parts management.
- Work with the team to implement changes that enhance the customer
- Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the sales, technical, and marketing teams to address customer needs and support business growth.
- Specific Tasks for Position
- Occasional sales interactions and
- Prepare quotes as needed for parts and finished goods equipment sales
- Solicit sale of new or additional services or products to any customers that are assisted with Customer Service issues.

Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agricultural Business & Economics or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Customer Service, preferably in a technical, manufacturing industrial environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal
- Technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex equipment and parts and basic use of hand-tool knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and parts inventory system.
