Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Interacting with customers, understanding their requirements and providing them with the necessary product
- Supply service technicians with parts ordered through parts requisition forms.
- Answering parts calls and giving necessary details to customers and taking orders.
- Conduct telephone sales calls to customers or potential customers
- Giving customers all detail regarding the available products.
- Maintain customer goodwill.
- Meets deadlines effectively
- Insuring phone traffic is handled properly
- Insuring incoming stock orders are put up and parts are placed in the proper bins.
- Emergency orders are placed daily
- Must be able to operate a forklift in order to move parts in and out of warehouse and parts department.
- Assist in keeping parts area clean and free of trip hazards and shelf section area stocked and orderly.
- Keeping a record of the entire inventory and reporting any loss or damages to the proper authority.
- Check weekly on customer backorders and notify customers daily on backordered parts receipts.
- Insure the showroom parts displays are fully stocked.
- Keep the downstairs blade, filter, and oil supplies full and insuring that parts will call bin has nothing over 30 days old.
- Compiles worksheets or tickets to customer and or service technician specifications.
- Occasionally drives company vehicle to transport materials to and from locations.
- Any other related duties as may be required by supervisor/manager

- High school diploma and/or one to two years related experience
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Commitment to providing quality internal and external customer service
- Adept at acquiring new skills, gaining knowledge and willingness to develop professional expertise
- Proficient computer skills
- Writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
- Ability to serve customers on the phone using proper phone etiquette.
