Part-Time Social Media Specialist

In the role of Part-Time Social Media Specialist, your responsibilities will include managing our Social Media accounts, creating compelling content, and establishing a robust online presence for our brand. Your crucial contribution will be integral to enhancing our Social Media strategy, with a specific emphasis on driving awareness in multiple markets, increasing membership, and generating funds to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Graphic Design:
   • Create visually appealing and brand-aligned graphics for use across various Social Media platforms.
2. Content Creation:
   • Develop compelling and creative copy for Social Media posts that resonate with our target audience.
   • Upload and manage videos, ensuring they are optimized for each platform.
3. Scheduling and Posting:
   • Plan and schedule Social Media posts across different platforms using scheduling tools.
   • Ensure a consistent posting schedule and timely delivery of content.
4. Community Engagement:
   • Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
   • Foster positive relationships with followers and encourage user-generated content.
5. Analytics:
   • Monitor and analyze Social Media performance metrics.
   • Generate reports to evaluate the success of campaigns and suggest improvements.
6. Ad Management:
   • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage paid Social Media advertising campaigns.
   • Optimize ad performance based on analytics and industry best practices.
7. Implement Social Media Campaigns:
   • Develop and execute Social Media campaigns with the goal of driving awareness, increasing membership, and fundraising.
   • Collaborate with the marketing and fundraising teams to align Social Media efforts with overall organizational objectives.
8. Traveling to Locations:
   • Occasionally travel to different locations for content creation, live events, or to capture on-site experiences.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing Social Media accounts for businesses or brands.
• Proficient in graphic design tools and video editing software.
• Strong copywriting skills with a keen understanding of brand voice and tone.
• Familiarity with Social Media analytics and reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of current Social Media trends and best practices.

Schedule and Compensation:

• This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Work Location:

• This position is hybrid, allowing for a flexible work arrangement, but candidates should reside in the Charlotte area.
