In the role of Part-Time Social Media Specialist, your responsibilities will include managing our Social Media accounts, creating compelling content, and establishing a robust online presence for our brand. Your crucial contribution will be integral to enhancing our Social Media strategy, with a specific emphasis on driving awareness in multiple markets, increasing membership, and generating funds to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design:
- Create visually appealing and brand-aligned graphics for use across various Social Media platforms.
- Content Creation:
- Develop compelling and creative copy for Social Media posts that resonate with our target audience.
- Upload and manage videos, ensuring they are optimized for each platform.
- Scheduling and Posting:
- Plan and schedule Social Media posts across different platforms using scheduling tools.
- Ensure a consistent posting schedule and timely delivery of content.
- Community Engagement:
- Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Foster positive relationships with followers and encourage user-generated content.
- Analytics:
- Monitor and analyze Social Media performance metrics.
- Generate reports to evaluate the success of campaigns and suggest improvements.
- Ad Management:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and manage paid Social Media advertising campaigns.
- Optimize ad performance based on analytics and industry best practices.
- Implement Social Media Campaigns:
- Develop and execute Social Media campaigns with the goal of driving awareness, increasing membership, and fundraising.
- Collaborate with the marketing and fundraising teams to align Social Media efforts with overall organizational objectives.
- Traveling to Locations:
- Occasionally travel to different locations for content creation, live events, or to capture on-site experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing Social Media accounts for businesses or brands.
- Proficient in graphic design tools and video editing software.
- Strong copywriting skills with a keen understanding of brand voice and tone.
- Familiarity with Social Media analytics and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of current Social Media trends and best practices.
Schedule and Compensation:
- This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Work Location:
- This position is hybrid, allowing for a flexible work arrangement, but candidates should reside in the Charlotte area.
