The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for assisting and managing social media campaigns, creating best practices for agency clients, creating content calendars, reporting on analytics, and other activities needed for events, clients, and branding efforts.
This role is part-time, contract and ~20-25 hours a week to start. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for full-time. There will be special events that require you to attend briefly during the week and weekends and/or client posts that need occasional posting on weekends.
MUST BE PROFICIENT IN ALL SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS
Responsibilities:
Social Media - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Create new and update existing social media accounts for brand and clients
- Create and manage social media calendars, copy, media/images/photos/videos, and strategy
- Research and document industry trends on clients and competitors
- Research the preferences of the target audience
- Able to define and communicate social media KPIs
- Post to various social media platforms for brand and clients on a daily basis
- Attend local events and marketing efforts to understand branding and post on social media
- Troubleshoot issues comfortably and easily with social media platforms
- Maintain social media voice and presence of clients and brand with content
- Provide weekly reporting and recommendations for strategy
- Identify, grow, and partner with strategic influencers for clients and brand
- Comprehend and report on analytics
- Build followers and likes; maintain social media accounts
- Research and contact events, organizations, news outlets, etc. to support client initiatives
- Must have interest in staying up-to-date on current events and news savvy
- Research news, events, personalities, for partnership opportunities
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Social Media Management experience required with organization/agency
- Self-starter, show initiative, ready to learn, curious, and be able to work autonomously
- Excellent verbal/communication and writing skills
- Impeccable attention to detail and organizational skills a must
- Comprehensive understanding of social media tools. Must feel confident recommending strategies and other ways to improve optimization
- Proficient and comfortable in Microsoft Office and Mac (will be doing reporting)
- Professional and confident in interacting with executives (brand and clients)
- Must be comfortable/love and avid user of social media platforms—Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Good attitude (Positive, enthusiastic, go-getter)
- Ability to take ownership is a must
- Familiarity with Zoom, Google Meet and any content management system (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Hubspot, etc.)
- Willing and passion to learn and grow in role, team, and company
