About KGA
KGA is looking for a part-time marketing professional to help execute the firm’s marketing plan. Working with the firm’s principals and marketing consultants, the person in this role will help with research to aid business development and manage the firm’s proposal and award responses, collateral, and digital footprint. KGA is a NYC based firm specializing in performing arts, broadcast and media facility design, and creative workplace projects. With over 30 years experience in new development as well as preservation and adaptive reuse of historic structures, KGA has established a reputation for delivering high quality design and management of projects requiring both base-building and interiors.
Position Summary and Key Responsibilities:
- Research new project opportunities and implement and manage the firm’s CRM.
- Track industry award programs and develop award submissions
- Identify potential project pursuits (RFPs/RFQs) and manage pursuit processes. Compile proposal response in an InDesign file working with a principal on content
- Keep all collateral updated, including firm information, project descriptions, brochures, case studies, portfolios, etc., with direction from Principals
- Create and send quarterly e-blasts in Mailchimp and keep mailing list updated
- Coordinate professional photography of projects and assist with photoshoots as needed
- Organize Image Library
- Update website regularly
- Develop visual content and write posts for KGA Instagram and LinkedIn accounts and principals’ LinkedIn accounts
Skillset
- You have written 20+ proposals that clearly communicate a firm’s value proposition and are free of grammar mistakes and misspellings
- You are known for your proofreading abilities and attunement to a firm’s brand voice
- You have the initiative to create your own work plan
- You have worked in InDesign and WordPress or are willing to self-teach yourself these platforms
- You have managed social media for other firms and increased engagement and number of followers
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
This is a part-time position working 2-3 days / week. This is an hourly position and has a salary range of $30,000-$35,000. We will consider relevant experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors in determining compensation.
