Since 1988, Phinney Industrial Roofing, has been installing commercial roofing, waterproofing and exterior insulated metal wall panel/metal siding systems.

Safety Coordinator
Duties:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to promote a safe work environment
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed reports on safety performance, including incident rates, trends, and recommendations for improvement
- Conduct safety training sessions for employees to increase awareness and promote safe work practices
- Collaborate with management and employees to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications:
- Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Safety Coordinator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and training purposes
- Analytical thinking with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
