Summary
The Risk & Safety Coordinator position's primary responsibilities are to assist in our OSHA Recordkeeping services, support Workplace Safety client services and support our Drug & Alcohol Program services. This is a hybrid position with regular office hours but is primarily working from home.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
OSHA Recordkeeping Responsibilities
- Run 'date of injury' reports
- Create annual OSHA logs
- Maintain an assigned list of client's OSHA logs
- File annual OSHA log reports
Workplace Safety
- Implement new safety clients
- Document & facilitate communication between SRSS and clients
- Keep client CRM current
Drug & Alcohol Programs
- Develop drug & alcohol policies.
- Maintain quarterly drug & alcohol program consortiums.
- Complete drug & alcohol annual reporting
Qualifications/Education/Experience:
Requirements
- Highschool diploma
- Workers' compensation claims or medical documentation review related experience required
- Excellent computer skills
- Customer service skills required
- Experience working with multiple clients
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Must be detailed oriented

- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Able to meet deadlines, work independently without direct supervision, as well as in a team environment
- Excellent customer service, telephonic, electronic, and written communication skills.
- Analyze and recommend improvements for work practices, policies and training programs.
- Demonstrate ability to solve problems, analyze systems and data and suggest appropriate solutions.
- Technical experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to learn additional systems used to manage client data
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and able to demonstrate considerable initiative
- Effectively work with others to build consensus and rapport
- Use of standard office equipment
Physical and Mental Demands
- Ability to lift, reach and carry up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to report to the office with 24-hour notice on non-scheduled workdays
