The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience with Assisted Living/Memory Care. ### Duties:
- Greet and check-in family members and healthcare professionals, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Handle resident/family inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
### Skills:
- Previous experience working at a front desk or in a customer service role
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, bilingual a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, especially in emergency situations
