LHH Solutions is currently assisting hiring a Part time Office Assistant in Berkeley. The position is hybrid with 2 days onsite and couple days remote, 15-20 hours a week.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Provide general administrative support to office staff and management.
Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
Assist with sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages.
Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and other clerical tasks as required.
Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
Assist with basic accounting tasks such as processing invoices and receipts.
Assist with organizing and maintaining office cleanliness and tidiness.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress, preferably in education, administration, marketing, communications, design, or creative writing.
· At least 1 year of relevant professional office experience, preferably in community or project management.
· Experience in higher education or nonprofit sectors preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and project management software.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Creative, collaborative, and persuasive communication skills.
· Strong project management abilities with adaptability to changing priorities.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and project management software (Asana).
· Familiarity with relational databases (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce).
· Strong writing and editing skills adhering to business writing standards.
