Peninsula Orthopedic Physical Therapy is looking to hire a part-time Front Desk Administrator at our outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Daly City. We are looking for an individual to help us part-time.
Candidates must have experience working as a medical receptionist or Front Desk coordinator in a fast-paced healthcare facility, and must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Additionally, we are looking for someone with an acute attention to detail and an ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats. Proficiency in Spanish or Cantonese is highly preferred.
Peninsula Orthopedic Physical Therapy a physician-owned, state of the art rehabilitation facility, staffed with PTs, PTAs, an ATC and PT Aides. We practice evidenced based medicine (EBM) approaches, and incorporate strengthening and active functional rehabilitation with manual techniques. Job Type: Part-time: Monday-Friday Times TBD
Pay Range: starting at $20/hour
Benefits: PTO and Sick Time available
Job Responsibilities:
-Provide exceptional customer service
-Greet patients, check them in and supply each with appropriate paperwork
-Obtain benefit coverage information for patients, and communicate this information to new patients
-Collect and process co-pays and maintain patient account balances
-Manage phone calls and walk-in appointment requests
-Complete pre-authorization paperwork for patient visits
-Assist in obtaining and confirming pertinent patient information requested by the rehabilitation team
-Coordinate and schedule patient appointments according to compliant standards
Expected Qualifications:
-Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure and a positive attitude
-Computer literacy
-Exceptional team player
-Knowledge of private insurance, Medicare and Worker’s Compensation billing requirements
-At least one year of experience in a medical receptionist or similar customer service role.
