General Summary: This role will support Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA), Center for Drug Evaluation & Research (CDER), Office of Management (OM), Division of Management Services (DMS) Immediate Office (IO)’s recruitment and outreach support efforts that align with the Center’s hiring requirements that shall help strengthen the existing efforts with identifying and enlisting talented individuals from all backgrounds and disciplines to scientific, professional, technical, and administrative careers in FDA/CDER.
Please Note: This position is a part time position.
As a talent acquisition event planner, your primary role would be to plan and execute events that help attract and hire top talent for your organization. Some specific responsibilities you might have in this role include:
- Collaborating with hiring managers and HR teams to identify recruitment needs and develop event strategies to meet those needs.
- Planning and coordinating various recruitment events, such as career fairs, networking events, and information sessions.
- Identifying and booking event venues, catering, and other vendors necessary for a successful event.
- Creating marketing materials and promotional campaigns to advertise events and attract candidates.
- Developing and managing event budgets, timelines, and logistics, including travel and accommodations for candidates and recruiters.
- Collecting feedback and metrics from events to evaluate their success and identify areas for improvement.
- Sending out follow up correspondences to the candidates who attended the event.
Education Requirement: Associates Degree
Experience Requirement: Minimum six (6) years of related experience.
Other Requirement(s): This position requires U.S. Citizenship or a Green Card holder and the ability to obtain and maintain a Government public trust level security clearance. For a candidate that is a Green Card holder, they must have lived in the United States for at least three out of the past five years prior to your application date. You will also meet the residency qualifications if you lived abroad while on government or military duty or if you were a dependent of a federal employee of military member.

Equipment Operated: Standard office equipment including computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.
Work Environment: Work performed in an office environment. Involves frequent contact with staff and customers.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Manual dexterity for office machine operation; stooping, bending to handle files and supplies, mobility to complete errands or deliveries. Must be able to remain in stationary position for extended periods of time. Stress can be triggered by multiple demands and deadlines.
