Job Summary
The Indiana Geological and Water Survey (IGWS), a research institute of Indiana University (IU), seeks applications for an hourly position to assist with PDF Data Entry of 25,000 DNR well records into the DNR portal, perform quality control checks, and record progress in Teams.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to a department or group of professionals, exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Transfers Adobe Acrobat PDF record information into the DNR portal and records entries in Microsoft Office Teams.
- Organizes, tracks, and performs quality control of data entered.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
- 1 year of related experience

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves long periods of sedentary work and moving around an office environment. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
