Grid-Line Transportation is an independent, growth-oriented transportation company specializing in the transport of steel and flatbed commodities. We are growing and in search of an individual that can thrive in a fast-paced, yet casual environment.
Our current need is for a Data Entry & Safety Administrator.
Job Duties:
- Manage DOT Driver and equipment files.
- Manage our Electronic Logging devices and train/assist drivers with issues regarding their ELD's.
- Ensure compliance with all FMCSA regulations and improve the safety performance of our drivers.
- Research and review pending and upcoming changes to federal and state DOT regulations and informs the company on changes that affect them.
- Performs compliance audits to review DOT Driver Qualification files, DOT Drug/Alcohol Programs, Vehicle Inspections, Hours of Service and other appropriate items that are part of the SMS scorecard.
- Assists Driver Supervisors with investigations of incidents where a CMV was involved.
- Seeks out and assists in the implementation of Best Practices to be more effective and improve our DOT compliance program.
- Research DOT compliance training as needed.
- Monitors and assists with the vehicle maintenance program.
An ideal candidate will possess:
- Knowledge of the DOT and FMCSA Regulations
- Success developing and monitoring transportation standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work well and efficiently with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated strengths in problem solving, planning, and coordinating initiatives across an organization
- Strong analytical skills, a high level of motivation and the ability to work independently will be essential
- A drive to learn, apply their experience, and help reach the vision we have as a company.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
