Part-Time Customer Specialist

Western Home Communities is seeking to add a Customer Specialist to join our team! You are responsible for establishing a good first impression of Western Home Communities and will greet, interact, and direct residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a friendly, respectful, and professional manner. This position will work every other weekend from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday's from 4:40pm-7:00pm, as well as the occasional holiday.

Responsibilities of a Customer Specialist:

• Responsible for establishing a good first impression of Western Home Communities
• Greet, interact, and direct residents, families, staff, and other visitors as needed
• Answers telephones, relays messages promptly and efficiently, and forwards phone calls
• Provides privacy and maintains the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Provides services and supplies for residents, such as sorting and forwarding mail, forwarding maintenance requests, packages, and flowers.
• Assists departments with performing miscellaneous administrative tasks as requested.
• Forwards requests for maintenance services to the Maintenance department with all necessary information

Requirements of a Customer Specialist:

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Must demonstrate effective communication skills
• Must be able to do many different functions often changing from one task to another
• Strong customer service skills
