Customer Care Specialist

Canine Country Club, the #1 luxury dog daycare, boarding, grooming and training facility is looking to hire a Customer Care Specialist to add to our fun and amazing team! The Club has been in business for 13 years and is located in West Des Moines. We are looking for a Client Care Specialist/Receptionist and Sales Associate. This position is Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends, and the hours your shifts will be scheduled are between 6:30am - 8pm. Holidays, including Spring Break, are REQUIRED attendance and during these times you may need to work some overtime, at time and a half pay, as they are our busiest times of the year. Please make sure you are willing to be in town and available over all holidays before applying.

A qualified candidate must have the following qualifications:

#1: You must have some kind of receptionist experience, client service experience, upselling experience, administrative assistant experience, etc. This is a demanding position that requires a lot of thought and multitasking. It’s not hard, you just need to be able to work at a fast pace and multitask.

• Good with money, making change and counting down the cash drawer at night
• Ability to work with and care for dogs. Walking them to and from their kennels for drop off and pick up
• Other care of dogs as needed - feeding, watering, medication, managing a daycare group, etc.
• Ability to open or close the facility
• Cleaning - EVERYONE who works at The Club is required to clean as we keep the 11,000sqft facility spotless
• Laundry - staying on top of making sure all laundry is done
• Cleaning the lobby - sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing
• MUST have your own, reliable transportation
• MUST be dependable, reliable and have an open schedule to be available to work both morning and afternoon shifts
• Consideration MIGHT be given to someone who can only work mornings until noon-2 or afternoons starting at 11am or noon. But, preference will be given to someone with open availability.

This position pays $13.50 - $17.50/hour based on experience with additional monthly bonus incentives. Pay will be based on experience and selling/upselling ability. Raises are given based on performance.
