Job Description
We’re seeking a part-time Customer Care Specialist for our Fulfillment Team. The Customer Care Specialist is an advocate for our B2B and B2C customers throughout the build and delivery process of an order. They are part of the post-sale support team and are passionate about providing exceptional customer service. Acting as the first line of response to customers from placement to receipt of order, the Customer Care Specialist communicates in an open, helpful, and engaging tone and focuses on creating the best experience for each customer as they await their delivery. This position offers a rewarding experience where the employee has the opportunity to impact the company, the team, and the customer journey.
Primary Responsibilities
- Welcome customers into the DutchCrafters family while exceeding customers’ expectations by providing the highest level of care and service from the time an order is placed until it is delivered.
- Ensure orders are
processed by working with customers to finalize any decisions for the order (i.e. stain selection) and ensure the necessary
purchase order paperwork is completed.
- Proactively communicate with customers to shape expectations regarding delivery to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Communicate with customers regarding their order status, revised dates, and shipping activities to keep the customer up to date with their order progress.
- Make follow up calls to customers after delivery to strengthen and
continue the customer relationship.
- Work directly with customers to efficiently resolve claims and ensure a successful resolution.
- Contact customers regarding payment plans and delinquent balances to reduce order
delays.

- Customer service oriented with excellent telephone and email communication skills.
- Strong work ethic with integrity, self-motivation, and personal responsibility.
- Organizational skills with ability to prioritize.
- Extraordinary ability to be helpful, go above and beyond, and take care of customers.
- Strong desire to be part of a team achieving personal and company-wide goals.
- Competency with Office 365, internet savvy and comfortable using databases.
Physical Environment
Work will be performed in an office environment. Candidates should be comfortable sitting for an extended period of time while working at a computer.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation for the Customer Care role is between $18.56 and $20.17 per hour depending on education and prior experience.
DutchCrafters’ benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance that begin on the first of the month after your first day of employment. We also offer a company 401(k) plan, 16 PTO days after 90 days of employment, and a generous employee discount.
Hours
This position is parttime with a total of 20 hours per week. Actual work days and hours are up for discussion and dependent on the needs of the company.
