Pay Range: $110k - $115k/annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct obsolescence risk assessment for prompt risk mitigation strategy and implementation to ensure product manufacturability and sustenance.
- Perform engineering analysis, problem identification and troubleshooting of complex obsolescence issues with limited supervision.
- Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports with limited supervision.
- Technically lead and/or executes engineering projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for alternate solution development and qualifications.
- Collaborate with supply chain to secure sufficient inventory basis supply-demand projections and product roadmaps.
- Resolve customer complaints & escalations by applying quality methods for corrective preventive actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to increase team’s overall effectiveness.
- Sound technical knowledge of electrical & electromechanical concepts and applications -components, schematics, electrical system, PCB, cable & harness.
- Component obsolescence forecasting and risk mitigation strategies
- Component selection; alternate source identification & FFF Validation
- BOM Analysis / Comparison (Module Impact and Structure Analysis)
- Product Lifecycle Methodology and PLM / ERP tools
- Engineering change management methodology
- CAD & PCB design and tools
- Environmental Directives & Compliance (RoHS/REACH/WEEE)
- Safety Compliance (UL/CSA/FCC)
- Materials Mgmt - Risk analysis & LTB estimation
- Component Engg with Design concepts & DFx skills
- Quality methodology
- Project Management
- Interpersonal and presentation skills
- MS Office & VB
- Tableau reporting (optional)
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Electronics & Communication / Mechanical Engg
