We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Care Specialist. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. This is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze customer needs. Our Customer Care team members spend most of the day talking with customers on the phone and creating reservations, checking in/out dogs. Patience is a must with this position as you will be working with dog parents and dogs all day. Someone in this position not only must love dogs, but they must also be willing to "get down and dirty". Cleaning kennels, pet waste, feeding and medicating dogs, and giving baths are all part of the daily routine.
You must excel at communication and observation skills, as well as possess a keen eye for detail. We offer a 5-star experience to each and every customer so it is a requirement that all team members be happy individuals. Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required, we will train the right applicant. Some weekend and holiday hours are required. Essential Job Functions:
- Customer service-oriented - we pride ourselves on offering a boutique personalized experience. We are NOT a typical kennel we are a 5-star all-inclusive pet hotel, being kind and polite is our #1 requirement.
- Use time effectively with the processes that are in place
- Responsible for effectively communicating with our customers to provide a personalized experience for their dog
- Work closely with owner/managers in charge to handle hotel tasks
- Dog Bathing (No grooming)
- Responsible for the sanitation of all accommodations and outdoor areas * Performs body checks on to search for pre-existing conditions and/or injuries
- Has the ability to perform tasks at the request of the Managers/Owner
Qualifications:
- Must complete Zoomies education for a Customer Care Specialist
- Must be customer service oriented
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience is preferred but not required
- Some weekend and holiday hours are required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Stand outside (and inside) for extended periods regardless of the weather.
