JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator assists in supervising HR functions to include but not limited to: staffing, fair compensation practices, training, retention, employee relations, communications and legal compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports a strong commitment to quality service programs
- Completes full cycle recruiting process for hourly employees including compensation equity
- Facilitates training completion/monitoring for non-exempt employees
- Processes benefit actions, pay increases, employee reviews, etc. for hourly employees
- Monitors retention and completes exit interviews for hourly employees
- Maintains “confidentiality” with all sensitive information
- Performs filing, copying and other administrative duties as needed
- Assists with planning and implementing employee recognition and other activities
- Assists in executing all HR related polices, practices and direction from the organization
- Compliance maintenance and record keeping (legal posters, notices etc.)
- Provides guidance and support for performance management, annual review process and succession planning for hourly employees
- Responds and resolves first level employee relation issues (with guidance from the executive director)
- All other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum degree required: High School education and 1-2 years administrative/office experience
- Experience: HR experience required
- Position is fully in-person
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and people served by the organization
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Up to 20% in Northern Nevada service area
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
- Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
