About the Position: To provide a well-organized, smoothly functioning school environment in which students can take full advantage of the instructional program and available resource materials. Responsible for aiding the classroom teacher in the areas of supervision and general activities.
Compensation:
Commensurate with experience and education
$17.03/hr (entry-level) - $21.29/hr (11 years experience)

High-Level Responsibilities:
The Instructional Paraprofessional is expected to:
Co-planning, delivering, and reflecting upon daily lesson plans with classroom teachers.
Assists in the supervision and activities for students.
Monitors and assists with child behavior management.
Monitors students in non-classroom settings, and assists with everyday situations.
Attend various meetings as needed.
Other duties as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
A qualified candidate is someone who:
Has a high school diploma or equivalent
Has a college degree is a plus, but is not required
Ability to communicate effectively
Experience working with elementary/middle school-aged students preferred
