Belle Creek provides its students with a rich and immersive learning experience in grades Kindergarten - Eighth grade. K-3 students are taught using the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is a direct, explicit, systematic, and sequential instruction, incorporating multi-sensory learning. What support does BCCS offer staff and students?
We provide several levels of support for students and staff by having Instructional Paraprofessionals and in-house Special Education, Gifted and Talented, and Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education coordinators. Additionally, we have special service providers for Speech and Language, Occupational and Physical Therapy, and a comprehensive mental health team.

Our building is undergoing an expansion that will add a state-of-the-art performance stage, art room, and science lab. We will also be adding an inviting staff lounge with a patio for our staff to enjoy.

Salary Range:
$17.00/hr (entry level - no experience) to $22.80/hr (8 years of experience).
Nature of Work:
Instructional paraprofessional will provide support to the classroom teachers to ensure a positive, productive work and classroom environment. Essential functions of this position include providing instructional, resource, behavior management, and clerical support. The position is full-time and will work Monday through Friday for 4o hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least two years of college
- Two years of experience in an educational setting
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
- The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. (Having respected and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching sustainable.)
- The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).
- A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
