Paralegal Supervisor/Program Manager

Duties
- Responsible for all management and supervision of all supportive services for the Law College’s eight (soon-to-be nine) in-house Clinical programs.
- In addition to being responsible for all of the business-related operations of the in-house Clinics (which includes managing the Clinics’ client trust fund and litigation trust fund), and supervising other paralegals in the Clinics (which will amount to five other individuals as of the fall of 2024), this position constitutes the Head Paralegal in the Clinical Programs at the College of Law.
- In addition to managing all business operations of the Clinic, the person occupying this position performs paralegal duties in all of the Law College’s clinical programs which will, by the fall of 2024, include the following clinics: the Children’s Justice Clinic, the Civil Clinic, the Debtor Defense Clinic, the Estate Planning Clinic, the Entrepreneurship Clinic, the First Amendment Clinic, the Housing Justice Clinic, the Immigration Clinic, and the Innocence Clinic
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus five years’ experience in the legal field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal, legal clerical, accounting, and management training is preferred.
- Experience working with young professionals.
- Experience with legal issues faced by low-income clients.
- Familiarity with the substantive legal areas involved in clinical programs.
- Paralegal certification.
