Position Overview
AgriBank is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. This position is open to candidates with varying levels of experience, ranging from recent paralegal graduates to experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about working in a corporate legal environment, demonstrating both a willingness to learn and the ability to contribute effectively to our legal operations.
Duties include:
- Legal Research and Analysis: Perform legal research and analysis and assist in interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for specific matters.
- Document Preparation and Management: Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings. Manage and organize documents, ensuring compliance with legal procedures and corporate policies.
- Compliance and Regulatory Duties: Assist in ensuring that the company adheres to legal standards and internal policies. Play an active role in developing and reviewing compliance procedures.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between the legal department and other departments within the company, as well as with external parties. Provide clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, file management, and correspondence. Oversee certain administrative functions of the legal department.
- Litigation Support: Provide support in case preparation, including organizing documents and coordinating various aspects of cases or projects.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and professional development. Develop and lead internal training initiatives related to the legal department’s operations.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree or paralegal studies with paralegal certification from an accredited educational institution, or equivalent educational or work experience.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
