SalaryWe are looking for a reliable and hardworking prep cook/dishwasher to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, washing dishes, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, weighing, and measuring them
- Follow recipes and instructions from the chef
- Store ingredients in proper containers and label them with dates
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment using the dishwasher or by hand
- Sanitize dishes and kitchen surfaces according to health and safety standards
- Dispose of trash and recycling in designated bins
- Assist the chef with other tasks as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience as a prep cook, dishwasher, or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and carry heavy items
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
