Packaging Technician

Exclusive Brands is hiring for skilled and detail-oriented Packaging Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in the production process by overseeing the operation of our state-of-the-art gummy packaging machines and actively participating in the hand packaging process. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure the efficient and high-quality packaging of our cannabis-infused products.

Responsibilities: Machine Oversight and Hand Packaging: Operate and monitor the cannabis gummy packaging machines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, actively participate in the hand packaging process, including filling, sealing, labeling, and inspecting product packaging.

Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that gummies meet established quality standards in terms of appearance, weight, and packaging integrity.

Troubleshooting: Identify and address any machine malfunctions or issues promptly, minimizing downtime and production disruptions.

Packaging: Assist in the packaging process, including filling, sealing, labeling, and inspecting product packaging.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, report any discrepancies, and assist with restocking packaging materials.

Compliance: Adhere to all relevant safety and compliance guidelines and regulations in the cannabis industry.

Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment as needed.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and ensure a smooth workflow.

Training: Participate in training sessions and stay updated on industry best practices and equipment operation.

• Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in machine operation or packaging, especially in a regulated industry, is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a regulated cannabis production environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
