We are seeking a skilled Voluntary Packaging Technician to join our team. As a Packaging Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and packaging products in accordance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate various hand tools and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate product components according to specifications
- Package finished products using appropriate materials and methods
- Operate hand tools and equipment to complete packaging tasks
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Adhere to FDA regulations and maintain compliance with quality standards
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packaging area
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Safely operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in packaging or manufacturing preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand tools
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Knowledge of FDA regulations related to packaging is desirable
