Job Summary
The Packaging Clerk cell is the location where the packaging of the product is done prior to shipping.
What you'll do
- Once there is enough stock to fill an order, the final configuration processor assemblies the order.
- Ensure that all the testing and inspection has been completed for all items on the sales order.
- Clean and inspect optics.
- Ensure that the products are appropriately configured to meet the requirements of the sales order.
- Verify serial numbers, MAC Address, Model Number, etc.
- All items on the Sales Order are compiled in one location and the Sales Order is checked for completeness.
- When the Sales order is complete, it is sent to the Shipping Department.
- Receive and issue items on Work Orders.
- Process shipments in the MRP system.
- Assist in the Shipping department as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What we're looking for
- Experience with MRP systems (QAD a plus), Work Orders, Bills of Materials, and Routings.
- Competency with MS Office Software (excel, word, and outlook)
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Good math skills.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
