VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced energetic and passionate Overnight Veterinary Technician to join our inclusive and compassionate nursing team. Potential candidates must have experience in the veterinary field and must have emergency room experience.
We are a well-established AAHA accredited, extremely busy general practice and 24-hour emergency care hospital, in Springfield, Pennsylvania. We currently have 7 general practice doctors and 6 full time emergency doctors, and a support staff of 65 team members.
Teamwork is an essential component in our practice and our team is dedicated and make it their mission to help pet's live long healthy lives. Each associate plays an important role t in helping our patients and clients.

We are currently looking to hire 1 full time Overnight experienced technician. We have a unique culture in our hospital that values each person's individual skill and personality. Please note that these positions requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to: venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, anesthesia induction and monitoring, physical examinations and patient assessment, surgical preparation and assisting, dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy, patient recovery, and compassionate care for our hospitalized patients.
We routinely have Veterinary Technician externs, veterinary assistant externs, and veterinarian externs throughout the year, and our team is dedicated to training these externs so that they can become valued members in the veterinary field.
