Position: Overnight Monitor

Region: East County

The Overnight Monitor reports directly to the program manager. Primarily responsible for the supervision of clients involved in treatment and recovery services at a residential drug and alcohol recovery program. They will provide program oversight on an as-needed basis for the program, to include program coverage (phones, filing, driving, documentation, etc.) Overnight room checks. Utilize established protocols for any unusual or serious incidents or crisis situations, including the agency's disaster preparedness plan and notifying key management personnel of all occurrences. Supervision of clients to ensure safety and compliance with behavioral requirements.

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge and Experience: Must be free of parole and probation for at least one year. Ability to provide support to meet the needs of the program director and staff. A minimum of two years of experience demonstrating the ability to be detail-oriented and meet the specific needs of the program. Must have a valid California driver's license or identification. Must have a clean driving record. Ability to pass criminal history clearance by Department of Justice or a similar County-approved screening method. Candidates applying for an overnight position at an adolescent program will undergo an intensive background screening through Community Care Licensing.
