Security / Overnight Monitor

Candlewood Suites Hotel is looking for a Housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain private residences and commercial buildings.
The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.
Responsibilities:

• Making sure the interior and exterior public areas are free of suspicious activities, loitering and illegal activities.
• Helping guest at the front desk with handing supplies or dispute resolution.
• Keeping the front desk staff updated and alerted about any suspicious activity during the property walks.
• Performing patrols to assigned areas including the lobby, gazebo, parking lots, stairwells, cupboards, guys etc.
• Submitting daily shift report as well as incident reports. Reporting crimes to local authorities and management in real time. Monitoring surveillance cameras to identify issues/threats.
• Reporting, logging and submitting lost and found items.
• Working with other departments as a team to ensure excellent quality of services.
• Assisting with trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• IIt is a physical role and candidate will be on their feet most of the night.
• With occasional lifting of items weighing up to 50 lb23 kg and/or push/pulling heavy items.
• Candidate will need to bend and kneel to complete some activities.
• Literacy skills are needed - reading, writing, and basic math.
• Flexible attitude to shifts - weekends and holidays
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lb/23kg at times
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
