POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing front office functions in an assigned department, including greeting patients, answering phones, insurance verification and scheduling appointments. Perform intake process on all new and renewal patients of Diversity Health Center. Conduct public education activities to raise awareness about coverage options available under Medicaid, CHIP, and the Healthcare Marketplace. Participate in outreach events
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires an Associates degree or five years experience in a healthcare environment. Must have a GA Resident Navigator license or the ability to obtain one upon hire. Resident Navigator license must be successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment. Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include evening and weekends at community events. Current CPR/BLS certification.
