In the Office of the Registrar, Enrollment & Registration Services [Call Center], the primary responsibility of the Enrollment Services Specialist position is to provide cross-functional services in the area of Enrollment Services to include admissions, registration, academic and biographical records, and issues related to campus and online course enrollment from the start of their academic career up through graduation. Provide assistance with completing necessary processes and refer to appropriate resources on campus as necessary. Provide excellent customer service within a high-volume Enrollment & Registration Services Call Center environment.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide cross-functional services in the area of Enrollment Services to include admissions, registration, enrollment, and academic records.
· Must also have an understanding of admissions processes, student advisement, financial aid and working within a university setting.
· Answer questions regarding all aspects of enrollment, in particular about admissions, registration, academic and biographical records and issues related to on campus and online course enrollment.
· Provide excellent customer service within a high-volume call center environment which includes outreach calling campaigns, CRM ticketing, new student orientation sessions and assist the Georgia State University community.
· Public contact by counseling, advising, investigating, and problem-solving questions and issues from current and previous students, parents, faculty, staff, other college offices in all aspects of the enrollment process, including but not limited to in-depth admissions, registration, academic and biographical records, and issues related to campus and on-line course enrollment. Being responsible for charting each student in Salesforce and being logged in to our CMS system, in which students are queued for a better customer flow management.
· Providing counseling to students and parents with in-depth enrollment questions. Answering tier 1 questions regarding all aspects of enrollment, in particular about registration, academic and biographical records and issues related to on campus and online course enrollment. Assisting in our reinstatement process for each semester and which is completed after students have dropped out of classes.
· Community outreach (conducting calling campaigns for outreach to students to complete enrollment processes concerning registration as well as assisting with outreach to the departments on Office of the Registrar's and Admissions processes.
Qualifications
Minimum Hiring Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates demonstrating a knowledge of Call Center environment.
- Must have a working knowledge of integrated student record data systems, such as Banner and Banner Workflow.
- Must have a collaborative, energetic and resourceful work style.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task; pay attention to detail; and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Experience with FERPA and laws governing financial aid.
- Minimum two years’ experience in an Enrollment Services environment or unit (i.e., admissions, registrar, student accounts, academic records, financial aid, etc.)
