Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for representing DIGIDECK and engaging prospective clients in Sports and industries outside of sports such as Tourism. The main part of your job will be to be the first point of contact when a prospect fills out a demo request. From there, it’s your job to schedule a demo via email, phone or LinkedIn messaging and qualify the prospect in or out as a potential buyer. This position is integral to the success of our SaaS company, focusing on achieving quarterly quotas and promoting a thorough understanding of our DIGIDECK products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Sales Activities
- Utilize our tech stack and resources to engage cold prospects via Linkedin, email, and cold calling.
- Ensure seamless transition of scheduled demos to Account Executives for further progression in the sales pipeline
- Provide necessary background information and context to facilitate a smooth handoff process
- Inbound Lead Management
- Respond promptly and effectively to all inbound leads, demonstrating a deep understanding of the DIGIDECKs products and services
- Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and prioritize them for further engagement
- Salesforce Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information for all leads, opportunities and accounts in Salesforce.
- Regularly generate and analyze reports to identify areas for improvement
- Quota Achievement
- Work towards and consistently achieve quarterly quotas of qualified leads
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years prior experience in a Sales Development, market development or business development position preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with multi-channel prospecting: Linkedin, email, and cold calling
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Goal oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships with executive level contacts (VP of Sales, VP of Marketing)
- Preferred experience using prospecting tools such as Lusha or Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce.com
