ORIP provides research experience opportunities to area students and to enhance their interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by fostering critical thinking skills through laboratory and field-based research experiences, seminars, group discussions and symposia. This internship opportunity is critical to the CFAES enterprise as it opens the doors of the state-of-the-art laboratories at CFAES Wooster to young students in the community to explore various scientific career options. This program also acts as a point of contact for students to familiarize themselves with our research and promote our graduate programs.
