Job Description
SUMMARY
The Order Entry/Office Assistant's primary focus will be on order entry and a variety of clerical support duties. Must have attention to detail, possess exceptional customer service and computer skills and the aptitude to gain product knowledge to satisfy the customer's needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist with order entry:
- Monitor website and create order headers
- Review submitted orders and purchase orders
- Contact customers for additional information if needed
- Enter order lines, including specs and sizing
- Send order acknowledgements to customer and release to production once approved
Provide additional assistance to Sales and Customer Service as needed, including but not limited to:
- Procure and mail out swatches
- Send call tags for returned items
- Locate orders in production and update customers on lead times
- Follow up with customers regarding buttons, patches, etc.
Assist in the art department with printing stencils and creating markers for combining styles on digital printer including pulling stencil info into software and then ripping it.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years related work experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
REASONING ABILITY
- Must have reasoning abilities including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
OTHER ABILITIES/SKILLS
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task effectively handling multiple priorities and details with regards to customer inquiries, orders, and computer/phone system/digital printer.
