Job Description:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree: Doctor of Optometry.
• Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support (5.2.3):
• Possess a certification to use Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents.
• Education: Graduate from a school or college approved by the Accreditation Council on
• Optometric Education (ACOE) of the American Optometric Association.
• Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
• Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the preceding three (3) years as an Optometrist.
• Experience must include post-operative refractive surgery to include familiarity with
• Excimer laser, photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) and Laser-Assisted in situ Keratomileusis (LASIK), patient selection, and co-management of refractive surgery patients.
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an optometrist.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $74.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
