We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to become a part of our East Houston team!
Looking for someone who is customer service oriented, able to multi-task, and learns quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Patient pre-testing and diagnostic testing
- Educating patients on how to use and care for contact lens
- Preparing examination rooms and arranging equipment
- Handle all front desk administrative duties in a timely manner
- Patient scheduling using an EMR system
- Insurance verification and filing
Qualifications:
- At least one year of Optometrist Assistance experience is required
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational and verbal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work on Saturdays
