Assistant General Manager (Agm)

Our fast-paced and growing optometry practice is seeking an outgoing, motivated, dependable, and hardworking manager to work alongside our General Manager overseeing personnel and operations at two locations in the greater Fort Worth area.

The position includes both clinical and managerial duties. During clinical care hours check-out is performed, vision and medical insurance are verified, patient financial counseling is given, and walk-ins are added to the schedule. Outside of clinic hours, the Assistant General Manager helps with creating staff schedules, holding team meetings, and training and managing employees. Additionally the Assistant General Manager helps with motivating offices to achieve revenue/service goals. To be effective in this role, one should be comfortable utilizing management skills, multitasking, while overseeing a team of people.

Our clinics are open 6 days a week and the Assistant General Manager should be free to work regularly on Monday, Friday, and Saturday.

A well-qualified individual will have at least 2 years of experience managing teams of people. A working knowledge of health insurances & vision plans are required to perform patient check-out and explain challenging insurance topics to patients on a daily basis. Paid training will be provided in these areas. Excellent computer & general math skills are a must.

Pay listed is base, with additional bonus available for achieving designated business goals. Assistant GM will receive 1 week of PTO given after 180 days of continuous employment and earn 9 days more per year. Pay: $22.50 - $24.50 per hour
